Instituto Aeronáutico Centroamericano

Ray Firkus and Donna Flynn of Firkus Aircraft/Showline Airshow Services were in Costa Rica for the country’s first airshow at Puntarenas. Because of logistical glitches they and Michelle Neiforth of Super Dave Airshows were without a ride between the airport of Tobias Bolanos and the resort where the aircraft were staging from, Tambor. Daniel Campos, CFI for the flying school, IACA, came to their rescue.

IACA, the Instituto Aeronáutico Centroamericano is both a flying school and charter company based at Tobias Bolanos which is only a few miles from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, one of the main airports in Costa Rica.

Without hesitation, Daniel volunteered his time, aircraft and fuel to the needy three and made two trips to get they and their gear to Tambor. A few days later he made two more trips to retrieve them!

This gave them all a chance that they may never have gotten to see the IACA level of service. Outstanding!!

Daniel and everyone at IACA are wonderful and we can totally recommend their services and hospitality. If you ever find yourself in Costa Rica and would like to retain a charter company for an aerial flight we highly recommend contacting Daniel and IACA at the Tobias Bolanos International Airport.

You can contact IACA at www.iacacr.com, iacacostarica@gmail.com, or you may find them on Facebook by searching IACA, Costa Rica.

Many thanks to Daniel and his crew!!
